It has been revealed that Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Sergio Ramos’ deteriorating situation at Real Madrid.
El Mundo Deportivo has reported that the Spanish international, through his brother and agent Rene, has issued Real with an ultimatum: Double my money or sell me.
The 25 year old defender is demanding his current €3 million-a-year deal – which was signed four years ago – be dramatically upgraded. Tired of Real’s dithering, Ramos is ready to bring the matter to a head this summer.
Italian giants Inter are watching developments closely and know Ramos would welcome a move to Milan, where he is a regular visitor.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also a big fan of the Spain international, while Manchester City will be alerted as they seek a replacement for want-away Jerome Boateng.
Ferguson asked after Ramos through Rene before Christmas and despite the arrival of Phil Jones, could do with the Spaniard’s versatility.
