AC Milan 4-1 Cagliari – Match Highlights

AC Milan celebrated their first Scudetto in seven years with a 4-1 victory over Cagliari at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Robinho got a first half brace either side of Gennaro Gattuso header before Andrea Cossu cut the arrears eight minutes before the interval.

The visitors improved in the second period but Clarence Seedorf put gloss on an already polished performance with a close range finish with a little over ten minutes remaining.

The Rossoneri, who won the Scudetto for the first time since 2004 with a goalless draw at Roma last weekend, put the disappointment of their midweek defeat against Palermo in the Coppa Italia behind them with an exquisite performance in front of a packed San Siro.

It was a performance befitting of champions and it was apt a performance of such mastery preceded the formal presentation of the Scudetto in front of a jubilant home crowd.

Cagliari 0-4 Udinese – Match Highlights

Udinese kept their hopes of Champions League football alive with four goals in 14 minutes to see off Cagliari at the Stadio Sant’Elia.

Despite plenty of the chances on goal, the first goal of the afternoon came after 42 minutes through Mehdi Benatia.

Two minutes later Alexis Sanchez doubled the lead with a memorable solo goal and then Antonio Di Natale notched twice in six minutes after half-time.

Andrea Cossu and Andrea Lazzari combined for the first attempt of the game, the latter’s touch going just wide after five minutes.

Di Natale went even closer in the 16th minute when his curled free-kick from 25 yards was well saved by Michael Agazzi.
