Borussia Dortmund Confirm Real Madrid Approach For Nuri Sahin

Transfer news from the German Bundesliga is out and it has been revealed that Borussia Dortmund have fielded an approach from Real Madrid for Nuri Sahin.

AS has reported that Hans-Joachim Watzke, the Dortmund sports director, has confirmed the interest of the Spanish giants.

“We are not a club used to selling our jewelry, but if we get a strong offer we would think about it,” he said.

“Our intention is to get €20 million, of which half would be used to strengthen the team.”

Nuri Sahin is a 22 year old Turkish international midfielder.

Borussia Dortmund Defender Mats Hummel Wants Premier League Move

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummel has declared that he is interested in a move to the English Premier League.

The 22 year old German international centre back has been linked with Spurs and Manchester City this season.

Mats told Bild : “I’ll only leave for Borussia for a top, top European club,”.

“I do not care if it’s in England, Italy or Spain. But now I want to be realistic and not waste my time dreaming.”

The 6ft 3in defender has so far played a total of 55 games for his club scoring 10 goals along the way.

AC Milan Target Borussia Dortmund Striker Shinji Kagawa

Borussia Dortmund striker Shinji Kagawa has attracted the interest of Italian giants AC Milan.

The 22 year old Japan international is currently recovering from injury, but is on the radar of Milan powerbrokers Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani.

Kagawa moved to Dortmund from Cerezo Osaka for a knockdown €350,000, but is now rated in the €15 million class from the Germans.

The striker has insisted he is happy playing in Germany.

Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund missed a penalty and conceded a last-minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Mainz 05 on Saturday that extended their advantage at the top to 10 points.

Defender Mats Hummels gave Dortmund an early lead but they were left fuming when Petar Sliskovic equalised from close range in the 89th minute with Dortmund’s Neven Subotic down injured in the box with the referee allowing play to go on.

Dortmund have 62 points with seven games left ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen who host Schalke 04 on Sunday.
