Portugal vs Turkey Live Stream Online 2 June 2012

One of the dark horses to win the Euro 2012 are Portugal side who had a very difficult qualification campaign and they have been really dissapointing in the last few games they have played, infect they only won 1 game in the last 5 internationals they have played and that is something very poor for a team who has so much talented players all around the field.

They usualy start the big events on low but like many times before they just know who to handle the big teams and we can bet on them to sneak through the difficult group they have been placed in with Germany, Holland and Denmark.

Turkey on the other hand missed out on the qualification to the European Championships and it will take a mega effort from them to get anything out of this match which will be played in Portugal. Turkey always been a team who can surprise anyone and they have some great players and it will be interesting to see how this match goes about.

Turkey rocked by match-fixing investigation

Fenerbahce President Aziz YildirimTurkish police have arrested around 30 people, including the president of top side Fenerbahce as part of an ongoing investigation into match-fixing in football, according to the Anatolia news agency.

Aziz Yildirim was taken into custody on Sunday along with the club's vice-president Sekip Mosturoglu, the vice-president of Trabzonspor, Nevzat Sakar, and the technical director of Eskisehirspor, Umit Karan, the agency said.

The vice-president of Trabzonspor, Nevzat Sakar, denied earlier reports that he had also been held.

Several footballers were also arrested, including at least two Turkish internationals. Two of the footballers named by Anatolia were Genclerbirligi striker Serkan Calik and Ankaragucu goalkeeper Serdar Kulbilge.

The state-run agency said that raids had taken place simultaneously in 12 cities.

Fenerbahce are the reigning Turkish league champions. Broadcaster NTV said police were investigating alleged match-fixing in last season's league competition.

The Associated Press quoted Dogan news agency as saying the final league game of the season - a 4-3 victory by Fenerbahce over Sivasspor - was one of the matches under investigation.

Arrests linked to the investigation also took place in the central town of Sivas where the president of Sivasspor, Mecnun Odyakmaz was taken in for questioning and at Izmir in the west where the cousin of Fenerbahçe midfielder Emre Belözoglu was being held.

A number of arrests into match-fixing were made last year but these are by far the highest-profile arrests.
