Arsenal drew their second League game in a row thanks to a Robin van Persie goal against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium, to draw four points clear in third place of Newcastle United, who lost by four goals away to Wigan Athletic.

It was Arsenal's second point from their last three games having been defeated by Wigan themselves on the 16th and drawing level with Chelsea last week, but third place remains in their hands.

Van Persie scored his 28th League goal of the season to secure the draw, but Arsenal were unable to add to his 15 minute equalizer. Watch his goal below:

Chelsea vs Stoke City Live Stream Highlights 2012 March

In the English Premier League matches to be played on Saturday night we will have Chelsea taking on Stoke City in what will be a great match as both the sides will be going into the match as underdogs. Chelsea have had a terrible spell of form in the last month or so and it will be interesting to see how they go about now without the sacked manager Andrea Villa-Boes.

Chelsea's form has been poor to say the least they are not only on the verge of going out of the Champiosn league in the hands of Napoli, but also they will have to play out of their skinn to get the top 4 finish from now towards the end of the seaso as Arsenal and Liverpool are on their heals. If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two sides it is evident that Chelsea holds the upper hand as they won 3 of their last 5 matches although last two matches between the clubs has been draw so that is a worrying sign for Chelsea who must win this game.

Stoke City vs Chelsea Live Stream Online - 14 August 2011

Blues will be opening their 2011-2012 Premier League season against Stoke City playing away from home which will be huge match for them as it always a very tricky match playing at the home ground of Stokey who are very physical and know their way playing against the big boys of the league. Chelsea who had a superb start last season but drifted horribly towards the middle of the season now will be hoping to against start with all three points and maintain the form throughout the season.

Chelsea did not spent big in the transfer window and they will be hoping to utilize their current squad to its full potential, although IF Torrest start to score goals for them he will be like a brand new signing who failed to impress since arriving at Stamford Bridge. While Lampard and Terry are no longer their players they use to be and it will take some extra effort to keep the pressure on United.

Stoke City on the other hand are kind of team who tend to play well at home and Chelsea will dind it very difficult to get all three points here. You can always tune in here to get the live action of the match here, which will be available closer to start of the match.

Manchester City 1-0 Stoke City (FA Cup Final) – Match Highlights

Manchester City claimed their first piece of silverware for 35 years as Yaya Toure’s second half strike gave Roberto Mancini’s side a 1-0 win over Stoke City in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Toure pounced to slam home an emphatic finish in the 74th minute to breach Stoke’s obdurate defence and give City their first trophy since 1976.

The Cup victory provided the proverbial icing on the cake for Mancini’s side, who clinched their primary objective of delivering a top-four finish for a Champions League spot next season, while it sealed a memorable day for the city of Manchester after United won the Premier League title.

Stoke City 4-0 Newcastle United – Match Highlights

Stoke City 4-0 Newcastle United – Match Highlights[ 0 ] March 20, 2011 [Translate]

Stoke City moved five points clear of the Premier League relegation zone with a 4-0 win at home to a poor Newcastle side, completing their first league double over the Magpies in 40 years.

Jonathan Walters opened the scoring with a lovely flicked header on 29 minutes but Toon were very much still in it going into half time.

Their hopes were dashed by a shocking display in the first three minutes after the break, a brief spell that saw them self destruct as an error from keeper Steve Harper allowed Jermaine Pennant to extend the lead while a terrible attempt at a wall let Danny Higginbotham’s free-kick straight through soon afterwards.

Substitute Ricardo Fuller completed the thrashing with a cool finish deep into injury time after a superb flick on by man-of-the-match Walters.

The victory sees Stoke leapfrog Newcastle into 10th on 37 points.

Stoke City 2-1 West Ham United – Match Highlights

Stoke City booked their place in a Wembley FA Cup semi-final with a 2-1 win against West Ham in the sixth round at the Britannia Stadium.

Danny Higginbotham drilled in a low free-kick on 63 minutes to settle a game of controversial decisions. Robert Huth’s first-half header had earlier been cancelled out by Frederic Piquionne.

All three goals were of questionable validity, while Stoke’s Matthew Etherington had a hotly disputed penalty saved early in the second half, and West Ham had a strong penalty shout of their own turned down late on.

None of that matters to the raucous Stoke faithful, who will put the business of Premier League survival to one side when they travel south to play Bolton in their first FA Cup semi-final since 1972.

2-1
