The promising young player has enjoyed loan spells with Dutch side Feyenoord and last season, Bolton Wanderers, since impressing Arsene Wenger in a trial for Arsenal in 2010.

The teenage winger, who has been described as the "Japanese Messi" as well as being compared to the Brazilian great Ronaldinho, will hope to gain valuable first team experience at the DW Stadium where he will grow steadily into the pace and demands of Premier League football at a less intense and pressure fuelled club such as Wigan.
Competition for midfield places at Arsenal is tough and the loaning of Miyaichi is a positive one for all involved. Sitting on the bench behind the likes of Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Diaby, Song, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain and gaining nothing would likely not benefit the gifted youngster build for his future in an Arsenal shirt.
