Cristiano Ronaldo scored four to go ahead of Lionel Messi in the Primera Division scoring charts as Real Madrid dismantled a woeful Sevilla side.

Madrid were 3-0 up by half-time through goals from Sergio Ramos, Ronaldo and Kaka, before Alvaro Negredo pulled one back in the 61st minute.

Ronaldo responded, netting again in the 65th, 70th and 75th minutes, with Negredo netting his second six minutes from time.

It was the sort of attacking flair Madrid failed to show against Barcelona as they crashed out of the Champions League in midweek, and ensured Barcelona will have to wait at least another week to seal the title.

Jose Mourinho made four changes to the side which drew at the Nou Camp, with Ramos, Pepe, Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil coming back in – and all four were involved as Madrid dominated from the off.

Perotti to leave Sevilla

Diego Perotti will leave Sevilla this summer, according to reports in Spain.



The Argentine winger has been linked with a number of clubs in England, and reports suggest that a decision has been made that will see the 22-year-old leave.



Sevilla have valued the midfielder at €16million and having confirmed a deal for Hamburg's Germany international Piotr Trochowski, they are prepared to let him go.



Trochowski is due to move to Sevilla on a Bosman transfer, his agent confirmed earlier this month



"Piotr will sign a four-year contract with Sevilla," Roman Grill told Bild.

Sevilla winger Diego Perotti is reportedly on the radar of several Premier League clubs.

Liverpool and Everton are reportedly gearing up for a Merseyside transfer tussle for the Argentine international, who has also attracted the interest of Newcastle United.

Perotti, now age 22, is under contract until 2015 but Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has revealed that the club may be willing to do business for the right price.

Barca’s failure to win sees their lead over Real Madird cut to five points after Jose Mourinho’s side enjoyed a 2-0 victory over Hercules at the Bernabeu on Saturday.

Sevilla ponder offer for Fabiano

Sevilla are considering an approach from Sao Paulo for Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano, the Spanish club's sports director has confirmed.



The 30-year-old, who played up front for Brazil at the World Cup finals in South Africa last year, has been unsettled in his sixth season with the La Liga club.



“They (Sao Paulo) have made us an offer which we are evaluating and studying. It's complex and needs time,” Ramon 'Monchi' Rodriguez told reporters.



“I don't know what will happen. To move forward it needs to be an offer that satisfies us, something which as it stands, doesn't. It's a purely economic offer, and there is no player or swap involved.”



Fabiano agreed a contract extension with Sevilla until 2013 in August but injuries and inconsistency have affected him this year, although he is their joint top scorer in La Liga with 10 goals.



“He's a difficult character. Sometimes he pulls one way and then pushes the other, but he has always been like that,” Rodriguez said.



“Luckily the president and I know him better than anyone. We have enjoyed his character and we still do.



“The possibility of him going to Brazil has been knocking around for some time, but the decision will be Sevilla's and no one else's.”



Earlier in the week, Fabiano was ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury picked up in Sevilla's 2-0 defeat at Athletic Bilbao.

The Brazilian player then confirmed the news via his Twitter account that effectively he was leaving the Spanish League Club.

Luis Fabiano returns to the Brazilian Club where he started, he goes back "home".
