Manchester United burst down the left at Old Trafford, and skipping around one player, Ashley Young adopted a very promising position inside the box against his former club. Seconds later, he was on the floor and a penalty was awarded (incidentally scored by Wayne Rooney).
Soon after, Twitter exploded with fury at the incident, with United's winger called all sorts of names - largely a "diver" and a "cheat." Newcastle's 27 year-old midfielder, Ryan Taylor took to the social networking site to call Young a disgrace and the "biggest cheat in the League":“Ashley Young is an absolute DISGRACE. He's the biggest cheat in the league. His antics are a joke...."There was contact on Young, but his theatrics are quite clearly over-exaggerated to ensure a penalty was awarded. The defender comes across Young, but is it enough to bring him down? What do you think? Dive or penalty?
