In the Spanish la Liga matches to be played on Saturday we will have two of the title challengers in action, with Real Madrid taking on Osasuna in the league match at around 19:00 BST while Barcelon will be taking on Athletic Bilbao in the league game. There is 6 points difference between the two sides at the moment and if Real Madrid fail to do the busiess against Osasun Barcelon will be a great chance of making it to the top of the table and you can watch the live action of the match here.

Barcelona are in great form at the moment, they have won all of their previous 5 league matches which puts them in a position to really challenge Real Madrid for the title in coming days and with El Classico still to be played at Camp nou we can imagin this title race going to the wire. Barcelona will have all their key players back in the squad and it will take a mighty step from them to get over Athletic Bilbao side who are in great form at the moment.

If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two sides we can see that Barcelona hold a upper hand as Bilbao never defeated Barcelon in the last 3 years and although they are playing really well But sine they have to travel to Camp nou to face Barcelona, I can not see them getting anything out of the match. Arsenal's Ultimate Season Aim

Arsenal's form speaks for itself. Having suffered waves of incompetence throughout the season in which performances have been poor and confidence low, the team has managed to piece itself together for one final push at the most crucial stage of the season.

They sit perched at the very top of the form table, having won their last seven Premier League games convincingly, and are unbeaten in eight. In those last eight games, Arsenal have scored 22 and have conceded just six, with only Manchester United's form rivalling them. Arsene Wenger is obviously delighted, but highlighted the importance of staying composed:

"We have come through a very difficult period. We have learnt from that and must keep our feet on the ground and focus on the next game"

The Arsenal manager also revealed his ultimate objective come the end of the season; to finish in third place in the League so as to avoid having to qualify for next years Champions League competition. Third place would not only be a huge achievement considering how Arsenal's season began, but would also be extremely convenient in terms of scheduling, as an added qualifier would come at an unwelcome time after the Euro 2012 competition.

Wenger said: "It makes a massive difference [to finish in third] because fourth place is a qualifier and third place is really the Champions League. I would prefer not [to have to qualify], as would everybody, but if we have to do it, we do it. And don’t forget, it’s after the Euros so we might not have all of our players.”

Arsenal's great form is in complete antithesis to their closest rivals for third place, Tottenham's, who have won just once in their last six League games. The Gunners are now three points ahead of Spurs, but the race is still very much on for that all important third spot.

The Inner Workings of Dalglish's Brain

Well at least something at Liverpool is consistent. Kenny Dalglish has once again been on the defensive when speaking about his team, on the back of an astonishing 1 - 2 loss to relegation battlers, Wigan Athletic.

On the criticism of Liverpool's performances, he said: "It's amazing. You can pick out our league form and then you can look at someone else who has been knocked out of three cups, yet they take that as a good season for them. It depends how you depict it. We are not saying we were at our best [against QPR and Wigan] but there were circumstances, with three games in six days [seven in fact]."

Unfortunately for Dalglish, criticism of a side which conceded five goals in its last two games - lost against teams likely to be relegated this season - as well as a form guide which is so dreadfully bad, that if we were going on the last eight games, Liverpool would be in the relegation places, is absolutely valid.

On the loss to Wigan, Dalglish had said: "We looked a wee bit tired. We gave the ball away quite a lot in vital positions and that's not because the players can't play it's because of tiredness. You play on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday and it is going to take its toll. We've not had enough players at our disposal to give them adequate rest. That's the problem put on the club by the television schedule and the fact that we've done well in two cups."

He was also angry that Suarez's second goals was disallowed for handball, saying: "There was no rhyme or reason why the second goal should have been chalked off, it wasn't handball." The majority of fans and pundits have agreed that it quite clearly was.

Liverpool have won the Carling Cup and have progressed into the semi finals of the FA Cup, but when questioned over a poor League season, the poor League season must be addressed. More so when you consider that Dalglish has been claiming that his side are realistically aiming to break into the top four once again throughout the season.

However, there are signs of progress in Dalglish, who finally admitted the obvious: "We have got a problem winning games in the league." But just as you think he's finally being realistic and fair, he ruins it with another bizarre comment: "We have to educate ourselves and maybe we have to not play the lovely football that we have been."

Five losses in their last eight games and falling farther and farther behind sixth and fifth place as well as being caught up by those below them including Sunderland, Everton and Swansea, hardly reflects a side anywhere near top four quality. This is despite spending over £70 million on new recruits who were supposedly brought in to change Liverpool's fortunes.

One of the most inform team in the league at the moment is Arsenal, who are winning matches with ease at the moment, after two difficult knockouts from the cup comeptitions they have seemed to get their act together and now are in great position to hold on to the top 4, which would enable them to be in the Champions League next season.

This week they will be hosting underfiring Aston Villa side who are struggling for form this season, specialy their away form has been nothing short of poor and although they are well away from the drop zone but they were a team at the start of the season from which better things were expected but now that is not the case and they have nothing left to play for in the season so all they can do is put their end of the season on a high.

Totteham will be looking to go out there and win for the very first time at Stamford Bridge and that is going to be a difficult as Chelsea are back in form as playing well as the moment, although they suffered a defeat in the hands of Man City in the midweek but that was expected after the season they had so far, Spurs has kind of lost all their form in the recent month, as they yet to win a game in the last 5 matches and the task is made even harder when they travel to face Chelsea.

If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two, we will see there is not much in there between the two sides as in the last 5 games Chelsea have won twice, Spurs won it once while two of the matches are drawn, but crucial stat is that Tottenham yet to beat CHelsea at Stamford Bridge which is going to be a huge task again this week.

Eden Hazard is an Option

He is one of the most sought after and talented young players in Europe at the moment and Eden Hazard has certainly kept his options for a move this summer wide open. He has specified his intention of moving to England, which is fantastic news for the Premier League, whose fans will be awarded with a superbly explosive attacking midfielder with flare to spare, but Arsenal, Manchester United, City, Chelsea and Tottenham, are all showing a genuine interest in the 21 year-old and his decision of which "big club" to move to will be huge.

Indeed, as the media continue to push for clues on his transfer decision by asking of specific interest from each club, Eden Hazard continues to hint at his preference by saying with the utmost composure, that the interest in him is all rather flattering and appealing in apparently equal measure. As a result, the odds of him joining Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea and Tottenham have been swinging frantically from one club to another over the past few months.

Hazard's ambiguity in his replies is only natural, and talk of negotiations with clubs may be taken with a pinch of salt at this very early stage. However, the latest club as the subject of Hazard's transfer speculation is Manchester United, who apparently appeal very much to him, saying a move to Old Trafford would be a "dream come true," before immediately emphasising his loyalty to his current French side, Lille.

Hazard told La Voix du Nord: "If Manchester United are interested in me? Of course that appeals to me. It is a club which would be a dream come true for anyone, everyone wants to play football for them. But right now I think only of Lille."

He has previously spoken of United's interest in him, commenting on the calibre of Sir Alex Ferguson, describing the United manager as "one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best." Tottenham's manager Harry Redknapp, who claimed recently that Daniel Levy, the Spurs owner, would be prepared to pay the significant sum of around £35 million to bring Hazard to White Hart Lane, also announced that he knows Manchester United are "following him [Hazard] very closely."

It could be that Sir Alex Ferguson sees Eden Hazard as a perfect and direct replacement for the 38 year-old  Ryan Giggs, who is undoubtedly coming to the end of his career in football in the next few years. Having not signed a replacement for Paul Scholes who retired at the end of last year and who then returned to the United team when the midfield was light, Sir Alex may have come to realise the impact his veterans have had at United and how much the team miss them when they are gone.

Hazard would cost in the region of £35 million, which would be difficult for the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal to reach but certainly not impossible. Whilst City and Chelsea have a limitless budget and Tottenham's owner supposedly ready to splash the cash on Hazard, signing the man described as "incredibly gifted" by his fellow countryman Vincent Kompany is still very much an option for all of the top five clubs in the League, with a decision seemingly not made by the player himself. Yet.

Watch: Vermaelen Goal vs Everton

type="html">Arsenal won their sixth game in a row against Everton and in the process managed to climb above their London rivals Tottenham in the League to claim third place.

Thomas Vermaelen's first half goal was enough to clinch the win for a resurgent Arsenal side. Watch the goal below:

Arsenal Must Focus - Wenger

Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger was quick to praise his side after another valuable victory over Everton, but he also attempted to keep the side grounded, emphasising the importance of the players to stay focussed in order to secure a Champions League place next season.

The Arsenal manager said that despite the desperately poor start to the season, the players have turned it around with hard work and an excellent upsurge in form. He warned against Arsenal from now becoming complacent in their position and encouraged his men continue to work and stay on track for a successful season. He said:

“We were in disarray after the first few games [of the season] and the club needed to be strong to turn it around."

“We did that but there is still a lot of work to do. We need to stay focussed because as soon as you ease off the in the Premier League it’s over for you."

“At the moment you play under pressure and every game is a like a cup final. Six points in two games in two weeks on Merseyside [against Liverpool and Everton] is fantastic. I’m proud of the players."

“We need to keep focussed. We’ve gone through a difficult patch and, if we’ve learned something, it’s to stay humble and focussed and work hard.”

Arsenal are now third in the League table having overtaken Tottenham, who could only manage a draw against Stoke City at White Hart Lane. Wenger's men have now won their last five games, scoring an impressive 18 goals, and it is this form which Arsenal will hope to continue to stay above Tottenham, who have won only one of their last six games.

Everton vs Arsenal Live Stream Highlights 2012 March

A very crucial game for Arsene Wenger side as they are in the hunt for the top 4 finish and although they have nothing to play for in the season apart from making sure they have to grab the Champions League spot for the next season. Arsenal have been in good form in the last few weeks, they got knocked out of the Champions League by AC Milan, although they managed to win the away leg with a 3-0 win but the damange to the tie was already done in San Siro when they lost 4-0.

They have played 28 matches so far in the league and they have 52 points on the table, that puts them in the 4th place behind Tottenham who have 53 points from 28 games while Chelsea are just 3 points ARsenal and that makes it very interesting for the rest of the season.

If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two sides we can see that Everton have not beated ARsenal in the last 5 games and Arsenal won 4 of the matches while 1 game was drawn and that makes Arsenal the favourites going into the match, specialy the kind of form they are in at the moment with 4 win of last 4 matches. You can tune in here to get the full match highlights, live updates and goals video which will be available as soon as the goals go in.

Manchester United Want Pace - Not Berbatov

Manchester United will be bidding farewell to their record signing this summer, as Dimitar Berbatov's agent Emil Danchev confirmed that the future of the team does not involve the Bulgarian striker.

Danchev explained that Berbatov, or "Mitko" as he is known in his native Bulgaria, is embarrassed by the huge wages he is recieiving for not playing any football for United, but he is not one to make a fuss like a previous Manchester United employee in Carlos Tevez is renowned for. Instead, Berbatov has and will continue accept his position at Old Trafford until the summer when he will be free to talk to clubs about a move away from England:

"We accept that Sir Alex Ferguson is [building] his next Manchester United for the next three to four years and the future of Manchester United is not related to Mitko."
Another reason for Berbatov's absence from the team is that Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add pace to the team. As competitors for a starting place up front at Manchester United include Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck, who all have pace and energy in abundance, Berbatov's incredible technical ability is, although a joy to behold, surplus to requirements. Danchev said:

"Sir Alex wants to change the style of play of United, to put more speed in the game. I wanted Manchester to announce that if any team that wants to go for Mitko, they will sit down and negotiate. Mitko must endure this situation. It is not his style to start making scandals like Tevez."

"Up against Chicharito [Javier Hernandez], [Wayne] Rooney and [Danny] Welbeck, [Berbatov is competing with] talented forwards. The only thing all those players have more of than Mitko is speed. Berbatov is more technical."

"It is not by way of punishment that [he has been] left outside of the [main] group and it is not Scottish stubbornness [on Ferguson's part]. Ferguson has lost [out in] domestic cups, the Champions League and Europa League this season and I think it will be very difficult to defend their title in England."
Manchester United, Dimitar Berbatov and his representatives all seemingly share the same mind set, and are willing to help each other out to reach the best outcome for both the club and the player. United will allow offers to come in for the 31 year-old forward and will not block any moves or make life difficult for a striker who has been loyal and delightfully uncontroversial since his move to United in 2008. His agent continued:

"I was pleased by [Ferguson's] assessment of Berbatov. The position of the club is: 'We will not interfere. We are open to offers and if one comes in then we will not make difficulties.'"

"At a recent meeting, Mitko said: 'I am not getting enough playing time. I want to play [in] my last years. I am uncomfortable [because] I'm getting money, but [am not] working.'"

"Money has always been of secondary importance to Mitko. He just wants to play. I [don't know] why Ferguson took time to [reach this position]. In the three [earlier] meetings he promised: 'Yes, you will have the chance to play. I can not guarantee a start but you will play'."
Berbatov has played only 10 League games this season, many of them being from off the bench - and that is despite being Manchester United's top goalscorer last season. His style has unfortunately not suited United's all out, free flowing, pacey attacking play, which has left him out in the cold for most of the season.

The Bulgarian is something of a fan favourite at United, and all at the club wish him well for the future which, wherever he ends up, will undoubtedly provide and produce moments of beauty with a football at his feet and plenty of goals too.

Sponsored Video: Champions League Surprise

It is every football fans dream to one day rasie a trophy above their heads and scream with delight at a proud achievement. Indeed, the European Cup is the ultimate accolade for a club side, and is often the hardest to grasp with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City already finding the competition too difficult as the famous European Cup eludes them for another year.

If only they had booked themselves into a hotel room with the very trophy which they fought so hard to win, sitting unoccupied by the hotel window with the sunlight gleaming upon it with the glory and majesty which United, Arsenal, City and all other Champions League contenders have strived for.

For a few moments, Heineken presented the feeling of awe and surprise to a number of unwitting fans who walked into a hotel room expecting nothing more than a comfortable bed and en suite. However, the European Cup also awaited them, and as they danced around with excitement or stood in astonishment, pictures were taken with broad smiles proudly displayed on their faces.

The prank was to launch Heineken’s first ever global UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, marking the occasion with the creation of a hidden camera film to find out exactly what football fans would do if they got closer to the Trophy than they’d ever imagined.

Thanks to Heineken’s Trophy tour, the cup will be travelling around the world for even more fans to enjoy and take pictures with – and living childhood dreams in the process. Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and Dutch legend Ruud Gullit are two of many footballing greats who will accompany the trophy on its long and exciting journey. Watch below to see how fans reacted:

Arsenal vs Newcastle United Live Stream Highlights 2012 March

In the English Premier League match on the monday night football we will have resurgent gunners taking on Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium in London on 12 March 2012 at around 8:00 PM BST and you can tune in here to get the live updates of the match and goals video which will be available shorlty after the match is over.

Arsenal have kind of turn around their form again this season and they look set to grab the 4th position in the league and hense securing the Champions League spot which is so crucial in these days. Arsenal are playing really well in the last couple of weeks and they got some major results inlucing a 5-2 thrashing of Spurs, defeating AC Milan in the 2nd leg by 3-0 although knocked out of the Champions League but that performence have kind of rocked the confidence and they will be eager to go out there and grab another three points.

If we look at the last 5 meetings between the two clubs, we can see that there is not much between the two sides, last two games have been draw, one a high scoring 4-4 draw in february 2011 while earleir this season they played out an 0-0 draw, since Arsenal are playing at home and Newcastle United are not in the best of forms lately I can predict an Arsenal win in this one.

Chelsea vs Stoke City Live Stream Highlights 2012 March

In the English Premier League matches to be played on Saturday night we will have Chelsea taking on Stoke City in what will be a great match as both the sides will be going into the match as underdogs. Chelsea have had a terrible spell of form in the last month or so and it will be interesting to see how they go about now without the sacked manager Andrea Villa-Boes.

Chelsea's form has been poor to say the least they are not only on the verge of going out of the Champiosn league in the hands of Napoli, but also they will have to play out of their skinn to get the top 4 finish from now towards the end of the seaso as Arsenal and Liverpool are on their heals. If we look at the past 5 meetings between the two sides it is evident that Chelsea holds the upper hand as they won 3 of their last 5 matches although last two matches between the clubs has been draw so that is a worrying sign for Chelsea who must win this game.

In this weeks matchups we have some really interesting matches coming up in the English Premier League and we will start with a good battle between Bolton Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers and it will be interesting to see how this match goes about and it will be a massive match for both the sides. Both the teams are fighting for survival in the league and they are in the drop zone specialy Bolton who after playing 27 matches in the league have 20 points to their name and that leaves them 2nd from bottom and they will have to comeup with something really specialy in the remaining 11 matches to get out of the relegation zone.

Queens Park Rangers on the other hand are struggling for form recently and they are just 2 point clear from the drop zone and they have played 27 matches in the league with 22 points to their name and they will have to get somthing out of this match to keep away from the bottom 3. Arsenal Agree £10.9million Striker Signing

Arsenal have had a £10.9 million bid for Koln's German international striker, Lukas Podolski accepted according to the Mail.

The 26 year-old, whose contract with his current Bundesliga side expires in 2013 and has been actively pursuing a move away from Germany for the good of his career has apparently agreed a four year deal with Arsenal worth £100,000 per week and will join Wenger's squad at the end of the current season.

The striker, who has cored 16 goals in 20 League games this season for Koln, has been linked to a number of clubs of late, with big monetary deals supposedly in the offing for him to gobble up, but Podolski recently stated a move would not be for the money: "Money is not the most important thing for me. What is crucial is the development of my game."

Coincidentally, Arsenal would not be able to compete with clubs with backing from billionaire owners willing to spend huge amounts on players wages, which suggests Podolski has had his heart set on a move to Arsenal. This notion has indeed been supported by a current member of the Arsenal squad, who has played with Podolski in the German national team - Per Mertesacker.

The Arsenal defender explained that Podolski has been in contact and has been eager to find out about Arsenal, saying: “He has been very interested in the past few weeks and has sent me a number of text messages. I’ve told him that this is a great place to work and that Arsenal are an amazing club. Nothing has been agreed on yet, though, and Lukas hasn’t given me a ring yet."

Perhaps Mertesacker's praise of Arsenal tipped the balance in Arsenal's favour in terms of persuading Podolski to Arsenal. If reports are true and the left footed striker is on his way to the Emirates at the end of the season, it will certainly boost Robin van Persie's cause as well as adding a reliability and power to the Arsenal attack which is crucial to the sides progress.

Podolski Agrees Arsenal Move

Lukas Podolski will be playing in the Premier League for Arsenal next season if reports are to be believed today. The Polish born German international has, according to several reports originating from the German press, agreed terms to move to Arsenal at the end of the season.

The 26 year-old had been linked to Arsenal strongly in the past and was ambitiously pushed towards London by the press this January, but those associated with the player insisted that he would be staying with his current side, FC Koln for at least and most likely until the end of the season.

There have also been murmurs that Podolski has become troubled by the Bundesliga sides restricted ambitions and had been awaiting for a 'bigger club' to come in for him. Arsenal, who will be hoping to persuade Robin van Persie to stay at the club at the end of the season, have therefore offered their hand to the Bundesliga striker, with Podolski more than happy to accept.

His current side are supposedly willing to offer Podolski a new contract worth 5 million euros per year, with the knowledge that their star man's current contract expires in 2013. However, they are also willing to negotiate with Arsenal if Arsene Wenger is prepared to match their valuation of £15 million.

In 18 League appearances this season, the striker has managed 15 goals, and is moving into the prime of his career. Arsenal would do well to bring him to London and partner him with van Persie as the determined and very left footed head of the attack.

Surely, having bought strikers such as Marouanne Chamakh, Park Chu-Young and to a certain extent, Gervinho all for relatively small prices and to no positive effect in recent transfer windows, Wenger must understand that an established European striker with experience and credibility is a more reliable choice for the Arsenal attack.
