Real Madrid beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 at the Bernabeu in the Champions League quarter finals first leg.
The Spanish giants took the lead in the 4th minute of the match through Emmanuel Adebayor.
Tottenham striker Peter Crouch was then sent off for a second yellow card in the 15th minute leaving Tottenham with 10 men on the field.
Adebayor was once again on target in the 57th minute converting a Marcelo cross with a clever header.
Argentine winger, Angel di Maria then made the scoreline 3-0 in the 72nd minute with an exquisite finish from the edge of the box to give Real Madrid a commanding lead.
Gonzalo Higuain and Kaka was later introduced in the match with both players making their return from injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo then added gloss to the scoreline with a powerful volley to make the scoreline 4-0.
It was devastating night for 10-man Tottenham, who lose 4-0 to Real Madrid and see their Champions League quarter-final tie effectively ended at the Bernabeu.
