Real Sociedad have parted company with coach Martin Lasarte, three days after avoiding relegation from the Primera Division.
Lasarte led Sociedad to the Segunda Division title in 2010 in his first season in charge and then helped keep the Basque club in the top flight.
Sociedad announced on their website: "Real Sociedad have told Martin Lasarte that next season he will not continue as coach of the first team squad and, therefore, the Uruguayan manager will leave the club.
"Real Sociedad want to publicly thank Martin Lasarte for the work he has done and the professionalism he has shown at our club during these two seasons, and at the same time wish him the best of success both professionally and personally in the future.''
